A journey on two wheels through the roots, flavours and landscapes that shape Brazil. During 5 days and 4 nights, you will cycle through the heart of the Discovery Coast, connecting Porto Seguro, Arraial d’Ajuda and Vale Verde on an approximately 120 km rural cycling journey. Along trails, plantations, beaches, farms, indigenous reserves and protected areas, each ride reveals a new landscape and a new story. The experience combines adventure, culture, nature, history and local gastronomy, in a small group, providing a closer and more engaging experience. Among streets that preserve centuries of history and magnificent views of the ocean, the experience celebrates everything discovered along the way: the landscapes, flavours, traditions and stories of the Discovery Coast.
Day 1 | Porto Seguro
Arrival at the Porto Seguro Airport and transfer to the accommodation in Porto Seguro.
Day 2 | Porto Seguro - Bom Sossego Farm - Jaqueira Indigenous Reserve
After breakfast, we will set off by bicycle along trails and rural roads, where we will discover plantations and the Açaí, Cupuaçu and Coconut agroindustry. We will then visit the Jaqueira Indigenous Reserve, where we will experience the customs and rituals of the Pataxó Indigenous people in an area of more than 800 hectares of native forest. In the evening, you may have dinner at the Passarela da Cultura (not included), better known as Passarela do Álcool.
Day 3 | Porto Seguro - Arraial d’Ajuda - Vale Verde
Passing by beautiful beaches and the Historic Centre, where after visiting the patron saint’s church, we will have lunch in the village. We will then continue by car to Fazenda Trevo dos Búfalos to experience “Among Cheeses and Buffaloes”.

Day 4 | Porto Seguro - Vale Verde - Pau Brasil National Park
Wake up to the sound of birds. After a delicious breakfast, visit the Church of the Divine Holy Spirit and the Historic Centre of Vale Verde, the first Jesuit settlement in Brazil. We will then set off on our much-anticipated cycling journey through Pau Brasil National Park. This is one of the most important fully protected conservation units in southern Bahia. During the route, we will visit the Headquarters Lookout, Maracanã Lookout, Mussununga Trail and Patatiba Trail, where Salto da Jacuba is located, ideal for a refreshing swim and the site of our picnic.
Day 5 | Porto Seguro
After breakfast, we could not leave without discovering the history of where our Brazil was (re)discovered. We will visit Passarela da Cultura and the Historic Centre of Porto Seguro, with its churches, the Discovery Landmark, the Old Town Hall and Jail, and the Lighthouse. In the afternoon, transfer to Porto Seguro Airport.
