Description

One of the most sought-after trekking experiences today, we offer a variety of ways to visit this place, one of the oldest on the planet. Mount Roraima marks the border between three South American countries: Brazil, Venezuela and the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, and is classified as the seventh-highest point in the country, reaching 2,739 meters.

Mount Roraima has attracted the attention of tourists, adventurers, scientists, biologists, anthropologists, esotericists, mystics and all those who seek, through this fascinating adventure, a reconnection with themselves and with the origins of life, inspiring everyone to rethink the true meaning of existence.

It is an adventure rich in all kinds of experiences, combined with challenging moments of trekking and camping that inspire reflection and a profound reassessment of personal values. All in a single journey.

On a single mountain — Mount Roraima — it is possible to undertake multi-day treks, spend several nights at the summit, experience transcendental moments, observe orchids and birds, and enjoy customized journeys such as weddings at the summit or in the Indigenous community, full helicopter expeditions (inspired by the Brazilian TV series Império), or simply fly over the mountain, with or without landing at the summit. Mount Roraima always surprises!

Difficulty Level: Considered moderate to difficult, the trek takes place over rugged terrain and at altitudes below 3,000 meters, with no need for acclimatization or technical climbing skills.

Although the activity is accessible to most people, it is important to be aware that the trail is physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness.

Immediately after the briefing, we will begin our journey to the Venezuelan border, where we will complete the customs procedures before continuing towards the Community of Paraitepuy, with views of one of nature's greatest spectacles: Mount Roraima. In the evening, we will have dinner under a starry or moonlit sky, making it an unforgettable night.

Day 3 | Boa Vista - Santa Elena de Uairén - Paraitepuy

After breakfast, the great journey to Mount Roraima begins. Excitement builds among everyone as we immerse ourselves in the breathtaking scenery of the savanna and enjoy the trek to the campsites along the banks of the Kukenan River, where we will spend the night in tents under a starry sky.

Day 4 | Towards the Mountain's Base

At sunrise, Mount Roraima appears ahead, inviting us to another day of trekking towards it. In the afternoon, everyone will settle in at the Base, amazed by the imposing rock face. Camping at the base is breathtaking; the immense rock wall is beyond words.

Day 5 | Towards the Mountain's Base

The route from the base to the summit is special. It is one of the most beautiful moments of the trek, with stops along the way for photographs, rest, and contemplation of the scenery. We will pass streams and walk beneath the waterfall at “Paso das Lágrimas” (Pass of Tears). As we approach the summit, the Monument of Makunaima will welcome us.

Day 6 | Base of Mount Roraima - Summit of Mount Roraima

A day of total immersion on the summit of Mount Roraima, including visits to the Valley of Crystals, the Triple Point, and El Foso. The route features numerous rock outcrops. The energy of this place cannot be expressed in words, but rather through sighs, sounds, silence, reflection, and quiet observation. It is a place that evokes incredible sensations, and once there, you will understand why.

Day 7 | Mount Roraima

Day seven concludes with the breathtaking Jacuzzis Pools, La Ventana, Salto Catedral, and Maverick Rock. These places offer spectacular views, like a true glimpse of paradise, and provide the perfect opportunity to let the breeze touch your soul. From Maverick Rock, you can admire the vastness of the Gran Sabana, including the entire trail followed to reach the base. After this experience, you will feel as though you are standing atop a sanctuary.

Day 8 | Mount Roraima

Throughout the previous days, we will have enjoyed hiking and visiting various attractions at an intense pace. However, one thing we have not yet done is take a peaceful day just for ourselves, without rushing or having a daily goal to accomplish. A day to sit quietly, feel the mountain's silence, spend some time in our own thoughts, observe the details around us, or gaze into the vastness stretching as far as the eye can see. It is a time to embrace solitude and absorb the energy that surrounds each of us. This day has been designed for everyone to enjoy in their own way, at their own pace, however they wish, accompanied or alone.

Day 9 | Summit of Mount Roraima - Rio Tek Camp

The day has come to say goodbye to the Home of Makunaima and return to our homes in the city. After everything we have experienced, nostalgia and a sense of longing will begin to fill our minds and hearts. Every glance and every step will become a heartfelt “until next time” and “thank you for everything” we have experienced over these days. We will begin the descent towards the base, where we will stop to rest and enjoy a trail snack, before continuing for another three hours to the next campsite, where we will spend the night, with the possibility of seeing the most star-filled sky of the entire trip.

Day 10 | Rio Tek - Santa Elena de Uairén - Boa Vista

This morning, we will begin the final stage of the itinerary. We will hike 15 km to the Community of Paraitepuy, taking approximately four hours. We will then board 4x4 vehicles to Santa Elena. Upon reaching the border, we will complete the customs procedures, change vehicles, and continue our journey to Boa Vista. Arrival is expected at the end of the day or early evening, followed by accommodation at the reserved hotel.

Day 11 | Boa Vista

In the morning, a transfer to the airport will be provided for passengers departing on this day.
